Site Labourers to train as Assistant Window Sample Driller (Geotechnical)

Topdrill are looking to recruit 3 Assistant Window Sample Drillers for their professional GI team

What We’re Looking For

  • 01

    Most contracts are nationwide including railway: The successful candidate should therefore expect to travel and work varying shifts, have a flexible attitude to work, be motivated and have excellent verbal, written and communication sills.

  • 02

    A full UK Driving licence is essential, preferably clean however 1 or 2 SP may be accepted. Experience working in high-risk environments would be beneficial as would PTS and CSCS certification and other industry competencies.

  • 03

    All candidates must be able to pass a Level 1 medical and drugs & alcohol test to Network Rail specification. Training & Development will be given to progress to NVQ2 as Lead Driller. Other training opportunities also available.

Drillers & Site Operatives

Topdrill are looking to recruit self-motivated, experienced Drillers and Site Operatives to join its professional SI team

What We’re Looking For

  • 01

    Most contracts are nationwide and railway based: candidates should therefore expect to travel and work varying shifts.

  • 02

    All candidates must hold a current CSCS card and full driving licence.

  • 03

    NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling is desirable.

  • 04

    Experience of operating/working with drilling rigs and/or of working in high-risk environments would be beneficial as would PTS certification and other industry competencies.

Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist (Graduates will also be considered)

Topdrill are looking to recruit a self-motivated, experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join its professional GI team, however, we will also consider Graduates to train into the position.

What We’re Looking For

  • 01

    Most contracts are nationwide and railway based: candidates should therefore expect to travel and work varying shifts.

  • 02

    All candidates must hold a relevant degree, current CSCS card and full driving licence, preferrable clean or only 1 or 2 SP points.

  • 03

    Experience of running sites, supervising drilling rigs, logging to BS EN ISO 14688&9, report writing is essential.

  • 04

    Working in high-risk environments would be beneficial as would PTS certification and other industry competencies.
